National SchoolTransfer (also known as ‘NST’) was established in 1989 to provide a top quality school transfer service at attractive commission rates. The service to all our clients is confidential and we aim to be the most efficient and cost-effective agency in the country.

Our team comprises:

• Patrick Carter, the proprietor and co-founder of National SchoolTransfer, is a qualified teacher and former member of the Royal Army Educational Corps. He is also Chairman of Which School Ltd, better known as ‘isbi schools’ and publishers of www.isbi.com, the leading directory of independent, special, boarding and international schools, and www.isbijobs.com, for school job vacancies.
  
  
• Keith Boulter is the proprietor and Headmaster of Barnardiston Hall Preparatory School. He co-founded NST with Patrick Carter and is now our Schools Consultant.
  
  
• Jeremy Robertson is responsible for transfers of special needs schools within NST. This follows a teaching career of 36 years in both the state and independent school sectors. He was for 21 years the Principal of a successful charity based approved residential special school, where he was responsible for all aspects of the school’s management. Jeremy has an honours degree in education, an advanced diploma in Professional Studies in Education and, in recent years, he has completed his inspectors training with Ofsted. In addition to special school transfers, he is also Co-ordinator of the isbi Educational Consultants service.
  
  
• Bill Brown is a committee member of the Society of Educational Consultants, trustee of an independent school and a governor of a Local Authority SBSA comprehensive school. Bill has been headmaster of both maintained and independent all age day and boarding schools. He is currently adviser to a charitable trust and education officer to the schools division of a major private sector education company.
  
  
• Andrew McEwen has 25 years experience in education management, having been Deputy Head and Head in world class schools in the UK, the USA and Central and South America, many of whom are leading IB institutions. He holds an MA in Organisation, Planning and Management in Education and is an Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He acts as a consultant to a number of international school projects in Europe, the USA and South America as well as advising a number of education ministries on school-based topics.
  
  
• Patrick Carter is assisted by Sara Roberts, Tracy Green, Denise Atfield and Richard Essberger, all of whom are experienced in dealing with the sensitivities of both buyers and sellers and understand the essential requirement of confidentiality.
